Oliver Shields, the hero of Playing Hard, kind of appeared on the page when I was writing The Devil in Denim and has been standing around, tapping his foot at me and demanding a story ever since. Unfortunately none of the gals in the first three books fell for his charms (he disapproves of this :D).
